How to Make
- Using the Template, draw around and cut out the heart shape 6 times from various coloured glitter card.
- Fold the hearts in half.
- To create the 3D heart, use double-sided sticky tape to stick one half of the heart to another, making sure to match up the edges for a neater finish. Do this for 5 of the hearts.
- Cut a length of wool to 60cm.
- Thread one bead onto the wool making sure that its in the centre of the length of wool.
- Bring the ends of the wool together and thread your coloured and alphabet cube beads onto both ends of the wool.
- Tie a knot at the end of the wool.
- Stick a strip of double-sided tape in the core/centre of the 3D heart and then stick the threaded wool on top, with the beaded end at the bottom of the heart. To make this extra secure place a strip of sticky tape over the top of the wool.
- Stick down the last heart using double-sided tape on both sides of the heart to complete the 3D heart.
Top Tip
You can tie a knot in the string at the base of the 3D heart to prevent the heart from slipping down.
